Mental Health

The Teen Health Connection vision is to empower teens to be healthy, safe and successful. To meet the needs of teens and their families, Teen Health Connection provides outpatient individual and family therapy.  All of our clinicians are licensed mental health professionals who specialize in adolescent development. Our team believes that although the teen is the identified patient, we use a family-based approach, including parents/guardians throughout the treatment process. We implement evidence-based approaches, but also use creative techniques to build rapport and retain engagement with the teen.  In addition, all of our clinicians are trained and implement skills from our Becoming a Love and Logic parenting class during the family therapy sessions.  We provide counseling to address the following concerns:

  • Anxiety
  • Grief/Loss
  • Trauma
  • Family Conflict
  • Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
  • Oppositional Defiant Disorder
  • Conduct Disorder
  • Academic Concerns
  • Anger Management
  • Eating Disorders
  • Adjustment Disorders
