Teen Advisory Board

The Teen Advisory Board is a group of adolescent volunteers who are the youth voice for Teen Health Connection.  The Teen Advisory Board is responsible for participating in community outreach, informing Teen Health Connection decisions and leading public service projects. The Teen Advisory Board provides members an opportunity to become leaders in the community, to advocate for adolescent health issues, to participate in a professional environment, to collaborate on group projects and to practice skills such as public speaking.

Applying to be on the Teen Advisory Board

Teen Advisory Board members serve from August to May.  Each year, Teen Health Connection staff select 10-12 applicants to serve on the Teen Advisory Board.  Teen Advisory Board members are eligible to serve consecutive years on the board.
