Education: Dr. Dixon, a native of the Bronx, NY, graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor's degree in Human Development. She obtained her doctorate degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, completed pediatric residency training at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC and an adolescent medicine fellowship at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD.
Interests: Dr. Dixon has provided primary care to underserved and marginalized youth and has clinical expertise in areas of menstrual disorders, reproductive endocrinology and substance abuse. Her research interests include teen pregnancy prevention and postpartum depression among adolescent mothers. She has also conducted work exploring care-seeking behavior for adolescents after a pregnancy diagnosis.

Amy is a psychotherapist on the mental health team. Specifically, Amy works with adolescents who are involved in the juvenile justice system. She utilizes a holistic approach while working closely with other involved service providers, schools, employers, health, welfare, law enforcement and recreation agencies to assist in the maximization of the juvenile and family’s well-being.
Amy earned a BA in Sociology and a BA in Women’s Studies from the University of Rhode Island. She went on to earn an MSW from UNC Charlotte.
It is my hope that through holistic representation, we can improve the social and psychological functioning of the juvenile and their families.

Courtney is a Registered Dietitian with Teen Health Connection. She works with patients in the Center for Disordered Eating. Courtney has both inpatient and outpatient experience.
Courtney just joined Teen Health Connection from Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Jenny earned her BSN at the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh , PA. Jenny has been a Registered Nurse for 10 years. She has experience in pediatrics and family medicine and has worked in an inpatient and outpatient setting. "I like being a role model for adolescents by guiding them but, also giving them independence to grow and educating them so they can be safe and successful."

Education: Kim earned a BSN from Auburn University.
Interests: Kim loves being able to treat adolescents in a teen friendly environment, not as children but not quite adults.

Carolyn Mangiaracina earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Virginia, and her Master’s Degree in Community and Public Health Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She has previously worked as a registered nurse for both adult and adolescents in areas including cardiovascular disease, disordered eating, gynecology, and routine/preventative care.
In her spare time she enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with family.
